CupOFF Prague 2010 - a contest for everyone
20.-21.2.2010, Praha
SmíchOFF provides new concept in lead climbing contests. The aim is to reach as many competitors, while offering high-quality spectacle for the spectators. Compete can the very everyone even beginners, and the finals will be at the participation from the world of professional climbing tip.

That's why the contest is  a two days event.  Saturday is the open qualification, where everyone can try his best on the classification of 4 to 9 UIAA. The sunday race will see the participation of Czech leaders, supplemented by some athletes from the forefront of the world ranking.

Date of the event: 20.-21.2.2010
The exact schedule will be specified later on.

Competes, anyone who is at least 16 years old within 2010.

1st day (category MASTER) the open qualification takes place. Qualifications is "on the flash". There  are to be prepared 6 routes in the complexity of 4 to 9 UIAA for the athletes. Each contestant chooses at the  presentation on what route he/she wants to start. If he/she don't make TOP, it's the end of story and the highest hold held is to be counted as a final result, supposed the next lower route was flashed, othewised the hardest flashed route is the valid result. While making TOP,athlete proceeds to the next higher difficulty.  The classification proceeds in Sunday's semifinal and finals of 20 men, 8 women (women don't have semifinal). After the qualification ends the results are announced and prizes awarded to the first three non-qualified athletes (ie: 21 to 23 male and _9 to 11 female). 21st male and 9th Female will be the winner of MASTER. In addition, one participant is drawn and receives the rope Beal 70 m. All competitors receive a memorial T-shirt with logos of sponsors.
Entry fee:
1st On the day of the race without login: 200, - CZK
2nd When you register by 15.2.2010 : 120, - CZK
3rd When you log at climbing center SmíchOff before 15/2/2010 : 80, - CZK

In the application form you have to specify: name, date of birth, club, or sponsor, and at what difficulty you want to start (this information is not binding and you can change at the presentation on contest day).

2nd day (Elite) competitors who forward from Saturday's qualification complement the seeds. Right to seed has only the organizer. Sunday's race will take place in the women category in one round and in the mens in two rounds progressing into the final 8 men. In all rounds, the onsight style is to be applied.

While the first competition day is primarily intended for the general public, we take the next day as an exhibition the and try to attract some more foreign aces (the double World Champion Tomas Mrazek, recent winner of the World Cup 2009 and Vice World 2009 Adam Ondra and  Mina Markovic from the women pledged the participation by now ).

The IFSC rules are to be concerned.

Prizes for the first day (category MASTER):
The winner of master and next two subsequently: Cups and other prizes with a total value of approx. 1000, - EUR
One participant  drawn receives rope Beal 70 m.
All participants receive a memorial T-shirts with logos of sponsors and certificates with their locations.

Prizes for the second day (Elite)
Prizes are the same for men and women.
1st place 1000, - €
2nd place of 400 - €
3rd place of 200, - €
4th place of 100, - €
5th place 50, - €
6 to 8 place: material prizes
